Cryptic Coatings 5.56 NATO M16 Bolt Carrier Group

Founded in January 2014, Cryptic Coatings specializes in bolt carrier groups and BCG coatings. With an ever-expanding product line, their BCGs and coatings offer reduced friction, longer lifespans, and increased performance, backed by their lifetime warranty.

This AR-15 Bolt Carrier Group includes a MIL-SPEC 8620 aircraft quality steel carrier with a shot peened carpenter no. 158 steel bolt. The M16 cut carrier is compatible with most AR-15s on the market and features a shrouded firing pin, a chrome lined interior, and a properly staked, chrome lined gas key secured with grade 8 fasteners. The bolt assembly includes a tool steel extractor with spring and Viton O-ring. A chrome finished firing pin is also included.

Cryptic BCGs are finished in one of six different coatings, each offering reduced friction, increased performance, and greater wear resistance than that of a standard bolt carrier group.
